I'm maybe two thirds/one half of the way done with my short story for January. I have a friend who's gonna give me feedback before I post it, so hopefully it'll be up in February. It's a Pokemon fan fiction. Go ahead and cringe if you want, but at least it's not My Little Pony. But it's not a very typical Pokemon story. I'm hoping I can make it appeal to non-Pokemon fans as well. I still don't have an idea for February's short story, though. Maybe I'll look around on www.reddit.com/r/writingprompt…
Oh, and for now, I've decided to skip Nanowrimo this year. I'll still write a short story for that month, but I won't go for a full novel. I'll try and come back to it in 2016, with almost two more years of experience under my belt.
Finally, I'm starting my second week of school tomorrow. My classes are going better than I expected. I'm taking American history (from 1865-present), cultural geography, and communications (essentially a public speaking class). I was only taking math last semester, so I'm still switching gears over from that, which is a lot easier to take than stuff like history, in my opinion.
